Bears lose by 7 at Newcastle
Redcar SG Petch Bears patched up side lost 48-41 away at Newcastle on Sunday, in their second last meeting of the season. With 5 riders injured, and Ellis Perks having returned to Australia for the Winter, Jonas B Andersen was the Bears lone rider in a unfamiliar lineup.
The Bears select side put up a good fight however, with ex-Bear captain top scoring with 12 and James Sarjeant scoring 11+1 from reserve. Stevie Worrall top scored for the Diamonds with 13.

The Bears finish their season tomorrow evening with a trip tp Sheffield. It will again be a patched up side, with Jonas again flying the flag for the Bears! It is another competitive side being put out though, and we will be looking to end the season on a positive!
