Redcar Bears Speedway sign ticketing deal with Event Genius
Redcar Bears Speedway has signed a deal with Event Genius to make the Leeds-based company the team’s official ticketing and event technology partner.
Completed in time for the upcoming 2019 SGB Championship season, the deal will give Bears fans the chance to purchase tickets online for each fixture in advance directly from the club’s website using a white-label box office or via Ticket Arena – Event Genius’ consumer-facing ticketing store and app. After purchasing online, Bears fans will be delivered an e-ticket, which can be printed out or saved to their smartphone. Upon arrival to the Media Prima Arena, fans will have their tickets authenticated via a quick scan by door staff using devices loaded with the Entry Genius app, reducing their wait to gain access to the arena.
“Purchasing tickets in advance will be the fastest way for Bears fans to gain access to the excitement and action,” said Jitendra Duffill, Promoter at Redcar Bears speedway. “We’re confident that by using Event Genius’ services we’re providing a top-notch online and on-the-day experience, which can only help us grow our fanbase and boost sales.”

Ticket prices online will match those at the turnstiles, with Event Genius charging a small £1 booking fee for their services. Redcar Speedway aim to reward customers purchasing online with promotional codes giving offers of reduced priced programmes, family tickets and free food & drinks in the very near future.
